The Restaurant:
Arlo is an elevated casual, chef-driven restaurant located in the vibrant heart of the marmalade neighborhood. It is a favorite among locals as well as a special destination for the greater Salt Lake area and visitors alike. The restaurant’s menu draws inspiration from a global palette, with contemporary food and drink and an approach to hospitality that makes everyone feel welcome. Sustainability and responsible commerce are at the heart of Arlo’s operations. We are proud to partner with local farms and maintain our own whole-animal butchery program. Our offerings change regularly as we respond to creative whims and seasonal shifts.

The Chef:
A Salt Lake City native, Milo Carrier began working in restaurant kitchens at sixteen years old. His ambition led him to New York, where he attended the Culinary Institute of America. After which he moved to San Francisco where he began an exciting trajectory with Michelin Star and James Beard Award Winning restaurant, Boulevard as the Sous Chef. His adventures in cooking have taken him around the world, from New Zealand to France where he has been honored and humbled by opportunities to cook with a variety of inspiring chefs. He returns to his hometown excited to partake in its cultural evolution and share his take on meaningful, quality food with fellow Utahns.
